Step into the captivating world of "Agastya USA's STEM Camp – Science Quest" and embark on a thrilling journey of scientific exploration in the Agastya way—filled with Aah, Aha, and Ha Ha moments. Our immersive approach to learning, based on hands-on experiences and the "learning by doing" methodology, sets the stage for an extraordinary summer of science filled fun.

The week is meticulously packed with curious activities, creative challenges, and hands-on experiments, providing students with an interdisciplinary deep dive into scientific concepts while fostering a sense of wonder and excitement. In the exciting world of physics, students will embark on a journey with Newton's car, exploring the principles of motion and inertia as they build and experiment with their own miniature vehicles, explore the transfer of energy through coupled pendulums, and experience the outward acceleration of spinning objects, gaining hands-on insights into motion and dynamics.
Heading into electricity, students will harness static charges, witness electrical energy transforming into mechanical motion, and manipulate magnetic fields, deepening their understanding of fundamental electromagnetic principles through captivating experiments.
Transitioning to pressure dynamics, students will undertake hands-on activities to investigate fluid flow, atmospheric pressure, and how the principles of water pressure and density affect underwater movement, collectively gaining a deeper appreciation for the mechanics of fluid systems. They'll then explore ecological concepts through hands-on activities, constructing food pyramids, building food chains, and modelling transpiration to understand the flow of energy and nutrients in ecosystems.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) CAMP
AI is all around us! Self-driving cars, Alexa, and chatbots just to name a few. Let your child explore the world of Artificial Intelligence and computer programming. Learning about AI encourages problem solving, broadens kids’ view of what technology can do, and satisfies their curiosity. In this camp, students will learn what AI is. They will use machine learning models in Scratch projects to make dynamic and challenging games. The programming fundamentals such as variables, loops, conditionals will be taught using a block-based programming language in Scratch. Absolute beginners to experienced, all levels are welcome.
Note: Bring your own laptop or tablet. We will provide a laptop if you are unable to bring one.
