How Neuroscience Can Better Your Life Seminar 5: Improve your Memory with Science

Would you like to learn how to apply the recent research in neuroscience to your everyday life in ways that are available to everyone? Join Craig Savage, AP Psychology teacher, in an investigation of the human brain and how a better understanding of our brains can lead to a better you. Whether it's breaking bad habits or getting more sleep, recent studies in neuroscience show that how our brain works contributes to how we live. By attending these seminars, participants will have a greater ability to navigate their daily lives and reach their full potential!

Interested students can attend seminars individually, choose multi-session packages, or sign up for the entire course!

Whether it's remembering where we left our keys or a key formula on a math test, we are constantly relying on our memory for important and mundane things, and we could probably all benefit from an improved memory. This seminar explores the different kinds of memories and how they are anchored in our minds. We will discuss how hormones and neurochemicals can be utilized to improve your memory, as well as the impact of sleep, caffeine, vision, emotion, meditation, and exercise on our capacity to remember.
