Contemporary Modern: Thursday
Grades: 9-12
Time: 4:00-5:30pm

14 classes; No class dates: 10/2, 11/27

This class will reinforce the fundamental concepts of space, time and energy through the practices of modern dance technique. Instruction will focus on weight and suspension, fall and recovery, strength and release. This class will also incorporate the contemporary style of movement and improvisation skills that will stretch the expressiveness of each student.

Attire:

Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps) or Black fitted tank/t-shirt
Black boy short optional (must wear flesh colored convertible tights)
No shoes required for class
Hair pulled up out of face
