Preparing for Algebra I
Description
This five-day workshop will focus on the skills that lead to success in Algebra 1. Specifically designed for students who may have faced challenges in previous math courses, our approach combines engaging activities and hands-on learning in a small, collaborative classroom setting. Our goal is to build a strong foundation of skills, alleviating any anxiety surrounding Algebra 1.

Throughout the workshop, we will not only address the summer packet but also place a significant emphasis on reviewing essential pre-algebra concepts. This strategic approach ensures that students are well-prepared for a confident start in Algebra 1 come fall. Additionally, participants will receive valuable instruction on effective study skills, applicable not only to upcoming math classes but also to other Upper School courses.
