Halloween Mysteries
Description
Explore the ancient, pre-Christian, Celtic festivals and ritual practices that birthed our contemporary holiday traditions of Halloween and All Saint’s Day! How did the spiritual celebration of Samhain become the trick-or-treating fun of today? Through stories, art, activities and games we will learn how Halloween came to America and all the spooky legends that fuel our ongoing fascination with spirits, monsters and the thin spots between the living and the dead.
