Dance Technique
Description
Dance Technique consists of a variety of genres including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and lyrical. Students will build strength, flexibility and refine movement quality. Dancers will learn how to better control their bodies, while also learning various leap patterns, as well as turn combinations - all of which provide technically skilled dancers with the ability to dance using correct body placement and alignment and beautiful lines. Attire: Black Leotard (tank or spaghetti straps), Black Jazz pants/Leggings, Black boy short optional (must wear flesh colored convertible tights), Tan split sole, slip on Jazz shoes, Hair pulled out of face.
