Join us for 3 ½ hours of language classes each day, taught by Daniel Haataja, former senior lecturer of Finnish at the University of Minnesota and former professor at Umeå University in Sweden; Tiina Watts, Finnish teacher at Brigham Young University; and Leila Stewart, former Salolampi summer counselor. We will also have a kantele performance by Sheila Coughlin, and a lecture and performance on Finnish folk music in the upper Midwest by fiddler Jason Busniewski. Of course there will be plenty of Finnish crafts, weaving, baking, sports, games, singing, delicious Finnish food, sauna, movies, walks in the woods, etc. Tervetuloa!
