ACT Prep

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost: $600

Instructors: Dr. James Lipovsky and Phyllis Williamson, Summit Upper School Teacher

This one-week course is ideal for students in grades 9-12 who plan to take the ACT on July 11. The class meets on the five days leading into the test and will offer intensive preparation on all sections of the ACT: English, Mathematics, and Reading. Instruction in Science and Writing will be available to anyone taking those tests. All students will receive valuable feedback and personalized instruction based on their relative strengths and weaknesses.

This six-hour class moves very quickly and energetically, allowing students to benefit from all the work of a months-long evening course in just one week and will break for lunch.

Important Note: Students who take this class are strongly encouraged to sign up for the July 11 ACT. It will greatly benefit students who take the test directly after their week of instruction. Registration for the ACT is due by June 5 or late registration by June 24. Register at act.org.
