Camp Naucratius is a family friendly camping experience at Camp Chickagami in Presque Isle, MI (north of Alpena) organized and hosted by The Order of Naucratius - West Michigan.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ORDER OF NAUCRATIUS:
We believe that hunting and fishing are sacred activities, and with that premise, our goal is to help connect local hunters and anglers who have harvested in abundance with people who are hungry. The primary way we accomplish this goal is through encouraging local anglers and hunters to share portions of their harvests with those who are hungry through local programs and churches who are engaged in feeding people. More information about the Order of Naucratius can be found on their website here: https://www.onwm.org
WHAT TO EXPECT: This is the first (hopefully annual!) Naucratius Family Camp! We’ll have some programming (always optional) but much of the time will be free for you to spend making memories with the people you love. Activities will include: fishing, hiking, sitting around the campfire, playing games and more!
PROGRAMMING/SUPERVISION: It is expected that families will be primarily responsible for their children. Please be prepared to remain with your kids during your time at camp.
FOOD: All meals will be provided by the program.
LODGING: Accommodations will be assigned by Camp Chickagami. Families will be lodged with only their family that they registered with. Your family is also welcome to bring a camper or a tent. To arrange for this lodging type, please email email@example.com. If you would like to share a lodging unit with another family please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
COST: Price per person for the weekend is $50. Children 12 & under at time of session, no charge. Space is limited for an optional charter fishing experience on Lake Huron priced at $80 per person.
