Welcome to the Camp Chickagami staff application.
Your first step is to complete the application for this summer. The staff application process is done through our camp registration system called "Ultracamp." When beginning the process, it will look as though you are registering for a camp session.
Please note that thoughtful yet brief responses are welcomed in our application. If you have difficulty accessing or completing the application, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help you!
During the application process:
- Please be prepared to fill in information for three third-party references (not family members) with name and email address.
- Please be prepared to fill out and submit your background check information.
Once your application has been received, you should hear back from the Camp Chickagami leadership to set up an interview. Interviews will take place in April and May, with all hiring decisions completed by mid-May.
Questions? Concerns? Ideas? Contact email@example.com.
Note: If you are under 18 years old and applying to be a Junior Staff person, you will be required to have your parent or guardian create your account for you. The reason for this is, while you may be applying to be a staff person, you are still a minor and the State of Michigan requires us to have certain permissions from your parents to employ you at our camp.
Steps to getting hired at Camp Chickagami:
- Complete your application.
- Have three references (that aren't related to you) complete a reference check form. These forms are included in the application process.
- Submit your information for a background check. This process is apart of the application process.
- Our staff will connect with you once we have application and references to schedule a 30 minute interview via zoom.
Interviews and hiring will be on a rolling basis. All staff must have a background check and complete all paperwork before employment is confirmed.
