Arrowhead Camp
Description
Retreat for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are ran like a traditional Summer Camp with the unique needs of our guests in mind. Five days, 4 nights, all inclusive experience with full meals (catered to each individual's dietary needs or restrictions), on site medical staff, cabin counselors and caretakers, and backed by over 50 years of WMC experience and tradition. We begin with morning rotations which include an outdoor activity, creative activity, and group bonding activity. After lunch and rest time, the afternoon is comprised of swimming, patio games, movie, crafts, and an afternoon special rotation. Each evening has a special activity lined up followed by worship or meditation before going to cabins to relax. Guests will have the option to participate in a wide array of adapted activities such as Swimming, boating, hayrack rides, challenge course, shooting sports, cookouts, talent show, Carnival Night, plenty of arts and crafts, musical jam sessions, learning outdoor skills, and more. Camp has plenty to do during free time such as Basketball, pickleball, volleyball, disc golf, shuffle board, horse shoes, cornhole, ladder golf, crocket, kickball, board games, skits, stories - there's never nothing to do. Unless you take advantage of Cabin Time, which is our staff's favorite hour of the day. Enjoy some peace and quiet and have a nap if you like.
