Family Camp
Description
Grandparents, godparents, friends who are family, moms, dads, guardians, and kiddos of all ages are invited to attend this family-friendly session.

Price starts at $300 +$80 for each additional person in your party. Kiddos under 3 are free.

Camp Chickagami offers a family-friendly summer getaway on Lake Esau, providing opportunities to reconnect with nature, enjoy family-friendly activities, and relax. Programming and formation for both youth and adults are included.

All meals and lodging are provided, with families being lodged together. Campers and tents are also welcome.

WHEN ARE CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT? Check in begins at 1pm on the first day of the session with the first programmed item being dinner at 6pm. Check out on the last day of the program will be at 11am. If you anticipate late arrival, that is no problem but please call or email us to keep us in the loop. Note: If your family is being provided transportation by your sponsoring organization please make sure to connect with them about pre-camp and post-camp logistics.

​HOW WILL MEALS WORK? For Family Camps, all meals are provided beginning with dinner on the first day of the session.

​WHO WILL SUPERVISE MY CHILDREN? It is expected that families will be primarily responsible for their children for the duration of their stay at camp.

​HOW DO LODGING ASSIGNMENTS WORK? For Family Camps, lodging is assigned by Camp Chickagami and families will be lodged only with their family they registered with. Campers or tents are welcome for all sessions - please communicate that at registration.

​WHAT DOES THE COVID PROTOCOL LOOK LIKE? We are highly recommending that before you leave your home to travel to Camp Chickagami, take a rapid Covid test. If you test positive, stay at home, make necessary notifications and follow the CDC guidelines for those who test positive. We will have rapid tests available at camp. Help us to care for our community and stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness.

​WHO STAFFS CAMP? Camp Chickagami staff and counselors are selected for their creativity, energy, kindness, and maturity. Each counselor and staff member participates in staff training that focuses on group management, conflict resolution, bullying prevention and response, child development, creative programming, equity and inclusion, and activity leadership. Nurses, Chaplains, and camp leadership staff provide additional layers of support and guidance to ensure your camper’s physical, emotional, and spiritual safety.
