Day Camp in Presque Isle for 1st-6th graders
Description
Local Day Camp is for campers going into 3rd-5th grade in the upcoming school year.

Depending on the number of campers we have participating will determine if our activities all take place with a large group of all ages or if we will break the group into smaller groups by age.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by Camp Chickagami.

The day starts at 9:30 and ends at 4:00.

BASIC SCHEDULE:
Registration and check-in will start each day at 9:30 until 10:00 in the parking lot at Camp Chickagami.
After registration we will transition to morning worship, group games, Christian Formation and then lunch. You do not need to pack a lunch for your camper.
After lunch we will transition to more activities and then swimming at our beach.
Pick up will be at 4:00 pm.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Help us to care for our community and stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness. If your camper begins experiencing any symptoms of illness while at camp, they will be isolated until you are able to pick them up.

STAFF FOR PROGRAMS: Camp Chickagami staff and counselors are selected for their creativity, energy, kindness, and maturity. Each counselor and staff member participates in staff training that focuses on group management, conflict resolution, bullying prevention and response, child development, creative programming, equity and inclusion, and activity leadership. Nurses, Chaplains, and camp leadership staff provide additional layers of support and guidance to ensure your camper’s physical, emotional, and spiritual safety.

TIERED PRICING:Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Camp Chickagami has instituted a voluntary three-tier fee program. You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. It is an honor system; you tell us what is the best fit for your family.

No matter what tier you choose, each camper will receive the same wonderful camp experience. This pricing model provides the opportunity for families to support the full cost of their child’s camp experience and to help share that experience with other campers.

Day Camp Tiered Pricing
Tier 1
Tier 1 is our historically subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of operating summer camp programs. Every effort is made to keep the Camp Fee as low as possible.		+ $100.00
Tier 2
Tier 2 is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay a little more but still can not afford the actual cost of camp. Electing to pay the Tier 2 price helps cover more of the cost of your child's summer camp experience.		+ $145.00
Tier 3
Tier 3 more closely accounts for the true costs of camp including wear and tear of building and grounds. Families electing to pay Tier 3 are able to help cover the actual costs of camp including food and supplies, insurance, facilities upkeep and improvements, summer staff salaries and expenses, and programming and activities.		+ $175.00
