ICC MAIN CENTER SUMMER CAMPS 2024 - Galaxy Far Away:Lego Robotics Camp & Chess Camp
Description
LEGO ROBOTICS: GALAXY FAR AWAY:

Many children dream of being astronauts and traveling to space. Each day, students will learn about real-life space exploration and build a new model related to the NASA space program. Models include a satellite, a lunar module, a centrifuge that astronauts use to prepare for the physical sensations of launch, a treadmill that astronauts use to stay fit in space, and a “space robot”. Students will learn some of the science behind launching things into orbit, will hear about the most distant man-made object in the universe, and discuss what it is like to be an astronaut in space. Are you a budding astronaut? An adventurer who loves space exploration? Then you’ll love our Space-themed projects.

Join us on an adventurous journey through space! Build a rocket to blast through the atmosphere into a realm that is truly out of this world. Build a world where rebels and the dark side start epic battles. We'll build motorized models that represent spacecraft from your favorite popular space movie. We will also learn a lot about space along the way. Come experience this stellar journey to a galaxy far away!
