Description
Big Lake Rock Climbing is an introduction to some of the best climbing in the country. Learn the basics of safe climbing at Smith Rock State Park and enjoy an awesome tent camping experience. Your week will include a day of rafting the Deschutes River. Climbing shoes and harness provided, or bring your own!

Our RAD-to-Staff program is designed for teens ages 15-17 to participate in one of our RAD Camps while also being mentored in leadership by a RAD staff member. While RAD-to-Staff campers are not guaranteed a future position as a Big Lake staff member, participation in the program is recommended because it helps campers see what it takes to work at Big Lake and it allows our staff to get to know them in a unique and important way.

To apply for a RAD-to-Staff program, you will need to complete the camp application, write a short essay, and pass a reference check before being allowed to participate.

This session of camp is for families who need financial assistance getting their kids to camp. You will need to complete a financial application and send out a recommendation form to a non-family member who is aware of your financial situation.

Before funds can be added to your camper’s registration we need, 1) a completed registration, and, 2) the recommendation form you sent out needs to be submitted. We will then use these components to see if you qualify for the amount of financial assistance requested.
