Bugs All Around Me
Description
During this week we learn how Insects provide useful services to mankind and the environment.
Insects break down plant matter and help recycle nutrients into the soil. Without any insects at all, most bird and amphibian species would be extinct in months.
We will:
Learn about bugs and how to be nice to them
Learn about one bug a day
Learn their name in spanish
Read about about the bug
Follow up with a project on the bug of the day
Act out the bug of the day
Go on walks to explore bugs, maybe bring them back to our class but release the bug at the end of the day (optional)
