ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Ms Nelson is a graduate of Rutgers University's Douglass College (BA- English) and Columbia University's Teachers College (MA) and has been teaching writing to middle and high school students for more than a decade. An amateur writer in her own right, she dabbles daily in poetics, and she continues to hone her own "wordplay" skills in various programs and workshops, including as a participant at Middlebury's Breadloaf School of English. Outside of the classroom and beyond the page, Ms. Nelson is also a yoga instructor and integrative health coach. An avid trail runner, hiker, and nature-lover, Ms. Nelson relishes equally her connections and service within her multifaceted local communities. She lives in Princeton with her husband, step children, and Portuguese Water Dog pup, Fisher.
