Week 5- Millie's Actors
Description
Lights, camera, action! This week, campers will take to the stage to express their creativity through collaborative storytelling and artistry. We’ll learn about the different facets of theater and use improv as a tool to build confidence on stage. Campers will rehearse and perform a scripted story, work on props, sets, and costumes, and prepare to perform at the end of the week.

This camp includes a morning snack and lunch for your camper.
Faculty Bios:
Amanda Rivenburgh, Lower School Academic Support Specialist: Amanda joined Stuart from Moorestown Friends School in 2021. A graduate of MFS, Amanda also has been a second and fourth grade teacher at the school. She has had training in Wilson Reading, Reading and Writing Workshop, and the Responsive Classroom among other PD experiences. Amanda has a B.A. in English from Franklin and Marshall, an M.A. in teaching from Sarah Lawrence, and a reading specialist certification from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jacqueline Silva joined Stuart as a Lower School drama and theology specialist in 2021. Jacqueline additionally serves as the Lower School leadership and service coordinator, and creates opportunities for students to learn about their unique qualities as leaders and how they can be used for the benefit of the community. She works with Lower, Middle, and Upper School students on various performing arts productions as a director and choreographer. When she is not at Stuart, she enjoys curling up with a good book, hiking with her dog Zid, and dancing up a storm in ballet, jazz, and tap class.
