Description
Day Camp for ages 8 - 13 (entering grades 3 - 8). Children choose Activity Block classes for full day or half day enrichment. Classes run one week at a time from June 29 - July 31.

Activities
ArtVentures (Grades 3-4)
This class offers exciting ways to take ordinary materials and make something extraordinary. Join the fun for each new and exciting week of learning with new materials, ideas, and techniques!
Enrichment Course (Fun in French) Register separately.
Kids will laugh, play, and explore as they learn French through the arts. Each week’s camp will be themed to focus on a different art expression, such as music, dance, painting, theater, and even comics. Taught by MPH World Language Department Chair and French and Spanish Teacher Karin Trouyet.
Get Wet Games (Grades 3-4)
Using supplies from nature, create your own fairy door. You’ll then create a garden gnome using air dry clay and other art supplies. Flag Football Date/Time: Week 2, 4, or 6, Block 2 Are you ready to rumble??? Let’s play some Flag Football! (Don Ridall Bowl takes place on Week 6 only). GaGa Ball Date/Time: Week 1, 3, or 5, Block 2 GaGa is a fun, popular, high-energy game where players must continually move to avoid being hit by the ball. Who will be the last one standing? Game Shows Date/Time: Weeks 1-6, Block 1 Play some of your favorite game shows like Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and more. Game Show Design Date/Time: Week 3, Block 3 Design the Game Show that other campers will compete in for Game Show Week! Get Wet Games Date/Time: Weeks 1-6, Block 3 Get ready to have fun playing games outside that will also cool you off! Campers must bring a bathing suit and towel daily.
Jewelry for P.E.A.C.E (Grade 3-4)
Create cool jewelry to raise money for P.E.A.C.E. Inc. and its local community centers. You’ll display and sell your pieces to other campers, staff, and parents as a fundraiser.
Magic and Balloon Making
Learn professional magic tricks and how to make balloon animal characters. Show off your skills at the Carnival on Friday!
Ping Pong (Grades 3-4)
Enjoy this highly popular, recreational and competitive sport as you learn how to play table tennis correctly.
