Christmas Market Club
Description
Students will meet weekly to develop and create original products to sell at our very own Summit Christmas Market! We will focus on bolstering design thinking and craftsmanship skills needed to create their products (3D printer, laser cutter, hand tools), develop entrepreneurial thinking (budgeting, pricing, marketing, and teamwork), and build community with a festive market day experience where students sell their handmade goods to parents and peers.

Ages: Grades 5-8
Dates: Tuesdays from November 3-December 15
Time: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
Location: Exploratarium
Cost of club includes a weekly snack and an investment for initial business costs. Students will keep any profit they make from their business ventures.

The Christmas Market will be open to parents and other Summit community members in the Exploratarium on December 15 from 4-5:00 p.m.
