Maine STEM Film Challenge
The Maine STEM Film Challenge is designed to allow teams of from 1 to 10 to visualize and create short 3 to 10 minute videos on any science, technology, engineering, or mathematics topic.

The Maine STEM Film Challenge is for teams based in Maine. While the submission process is completely remote, we can only accept submissions from teams based in Maine.

Coaches, if you are ready to register a team for the challenge, please continue through this registration and fill out the information page, select a division (K-5, 6-8, 9-12, or College), and submit the team registration fee of $35. The registration fee is non-refundable. Once you are registered, you will receive a link to a Google Drive folder, sent to the email address you provided. This folder is where final film submissions are uploaded, as well as a completed Team Profile Sheet and completed Release Forms for each participant. Please also review our Privacy Policy here: 2023 MSFC Privacy Policy.

Video submissions are due November 17th, 2023. We hold a film festival on the USM-Portland campus to highlight submitted films, which is on December 2nd, 2023. This is not required to attend, as we have many teams from across the state of Maine submit film entries.

Please accurately list organization information when prompted during the registration. If you don't have all of the information yet (e.g. team size, additional coaches, etc.), you are able to go back and edit this after registration if necessary.
