Description
Basic sailing or previous sailing experience

Join us on board a 22-foot Catalina. This class is for the experienced day-sailor who is ready for something a little bigger. Course covers basic keelboat sailing including: preparation to sail, crew operations, sail theory, leaving and returning to dock or mooring, boat control in confined waters, overboard recovery and safety. This is a hands-on sailing class, outside class time is needed to complete theory part of the class. You will be asked to review a PowerPoint prior to class, and you must complete your online testing within a week after the class session ends. (Up to 3 students and instructor on the boat)


US Sailing certification is available for an ADDITIONAL $60, which covers Keelboat PPT, test, log book, hologram sticker and US Sailing membership.
