Learning to sail on the 19ft Flying Scot is a great place to start. This class is great for first time sailors, those with limited experience or as a refresher course. This class is a hands-on, on the water experience that teaches steering, use of sails (main & jib), docking, tacking, jibing and basic nomenclature. After learning all of the skills, day 3 will allow you plenty of time to practice your skills. If weather and wind allow, the instructor might even hop off of the boat on day 3 and coach you from a safety boat. (Up to 4 students per boat plus the instructor.)

Upon successful completion of the class you will receive your US Sailing Small Boat Sailor Completion Booklet.
