Ready for a longer, more challenging camp experience? The Maine Woodcraft Program is a two-week outdoor skill and leadership experience. This exciting two-week program focuses on building wilderness skills and a higher level of self-confidence. During the first week, campers will learn new skills and practice their axemanship and wilderness cooking. From trip planning to backpacking, and canoeing skills to first aid, Woodscraft participants learn the skills needed to enjoy the wilderness safely and comfortably. In our second week, We’ll head on a backcountry trip to practice wilderness skills like wilderness cooking, navigation, and campsite skills. In this program, campers will live at our remote campsite. All tents, sleeping bags, and camping gear will be provided by the camp.
