Session 3, Cleawox, Seafari, July 19-24, Grades 4-6
Description
Dive into an unforgettable marine adventure this summer at Seafari, where you won’t just learn about ocean life; you’ll live it. With our camp naturalist as your guide, you'll explore tidepools at low tide, poking into rock crevices and discovering sea anemones, starfish, crabs, and other hidden creatures. You’ll climb aboard a sea life cruise, watching for marine mammals off the bow, scanning for seabirds overhead, and learning all about the marine life in our local waters. We’ll also visit the Sea Lion Caves, where you’ll descend into rocky caverns and observe sea lions in their natural habitat. At the heart of camp is a behind‑the‑scenes aquarium tour, where you’ll step inside staff areas, observe how marine animals are cared for, and learn directly from the people working in conservation.
When you’re not out exploring, camp life is packed with fun: archery, swimming, boating, low ropes, singing around the campfire, and more. By the end, you’ll leave with more than just memories, you’ll carry a deeper understanding of life beneath the waves.
