2026 Summer Adventure Camp - Community Centers-Tyson Session 8-Get Cookin'

This is a free program for families referred to us by Tyson Elementary.

Session 8 – Get Cookin’
Aprons on – adventures in the kitchen! During Get Cookin’ week, campers dive into the delicious world of culinary arts, exploring everything from farm-to-table ingredients to reading and following real recipes. With hands-on cooking skills, creative food projects, and tasty discoveries, this week serves up confidence, curiosity, and plenty of flavor. Get ready to mix, chop, stir, and savor the fun!

Summer Adventure Camp operates both inside and outside throughout each day; the majority of time will be spent outside.

Included in program costs:
Lunch and 1 afternoon snack
This is a peanut free program.

-There will be a field trip to our Camp Fireweed location on the Campus of APU each Wednesday. We will be using a school bus to transport campers to and from Camp Fireweed.

-There will be an additional walking field trip each week. These will be shared with families during each week's drop off and pick up at camp.
