Session 7 – Adventure Awaits: Reading Safari

Pack your imagination – this safari takes place between the pages! During Adventure Awaits: Reading Safari week, campers journey through stories, celebrate their favorite authors, and uncover the magic of reading. With literacy-boosting games, creative activities, and explorations inspired by beloved books, this week turns every camper into a bold story explorer. Get ready to read, roam, and discover whole new worlds.

This is a free program for families referred to us by Tyson Elementary.

Summer Adventure Camp operates both inside and outside throughout each day; the majority of time will be spent outside.

Included in program costs:
Lunch and 1 afternoon snack
This is a peanut free program.

-There will be a field trip to our Camp Fireweed location on the Campus of APU each Thursday. We will be using a school bus to transport campers to and from Camp Fireweed.

-There will be an additional walking field trip each week. These will be shared with families during each week's drop off and pick up at camp.
