Description
Session 1 Theme: Get Outside!

This week, we will be focused on connecting with nature! Campers will learn all about wildlife safety in Alaska, the basics of gardening, and plant identification. Youth will also get to explore creativity in nature with nature-based arts and crafts projects and games.

This is a free program for families that live in the Loussac Place Community.

Summer Adventure Camp operates both inside and outside throughout each day; the majority of time will be spent outside.

Included in program costs:
-1 breakfast snack item & afternoon snack. This is a peanut free program.

-Every Friday there is a walking/biking field trip to a local park or area.

-This week, Loussac campers will attend a field trip to Camp Fire Alaska's Camp Fireweed Program on the campus of Alaska Pacific University.
