Naturalists-in-Training: Scientist (July 13-17)
Description
NITs will explore science through projects such as researching ecosystem biodiversity using citizen science, performing a stream study in the river, and training with a CNC naturalist on how to interpret their research to share with an audience. As the week’s capstone, the NITs will share their projects with their families on Friday afternoon.

(Naturalists-in-Training Series - The Naturalists-in-Training (NIT) Series will explore the profession of a naturalist. Each camp will consist of experiencing one theme of a naturalist’s work and how best to share their knowledge with others through interpretation.)
