Naturalists-in-Training: Historian (June 22-26)
Description
Attempt to start a fire using a fire-by-friction kit, paddle the river in a 14-person Voyageur canoe and work on a historical farm as you learn how to make history come alive. NITs will train with CNC’s Historical Interpreter to discover tips and tricks of the trade. The group will end the week by interpreting dynamic historical experiences for their families.

(Naturalists-in-Training Series: The Naturalists-in-Training (NIT) Series will explore the profession of a naturalist. Each camp will consist of experiencing one theme of a naturalist’s work and how best to share their knowledge with others through interpretation.)
