Week 1 - Senior Camp (Overnight Camp)
Description
This session is for youth entering 9th to 12th grade. It runs from Sunday to Friday.

Our overnight camp sessions are fantastic residential programs overflowing with fun activities like outdoor adventures, creative crafts, exciting games, and more! Campers will have the wonderful opportunity to team up with our Christian Formation leaders to explore their faith in engaging, age-appropriate, and self-directed ways. Throughout the week, campers build valuable leadership skills and gain independence and create lasting friendships that they’ll cherish for years to come!

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM CAMP: Transportation will be available for this session to and from camp. We are making final arrangements for this and will connect with all registered campers as soon as details are available.

FIELD TRIPS: An off-site field trip one day during the week and you can choose your camper's field trip choice in the registration process!

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: Check-in is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on your session start date, and check-out starts at 1:30 p.m. on your session end date. While we’re working hard to prepare for your arrival and ensure everything runs smoothly, please note that we can’t accommodate early arrivals or departures unless we’ve arranged that together in advance.

Field Trip Options for this Session
Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tour
Campers will travel to Alpena for a boat tour that explores Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary's shipwrecks through glass-bottom viewing wells. This activity is weather permitting. If we are not able to go on this field trip due to weather and cannot reschedule to another day we will take the campers to The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center.
Ocqueoc Falls
Travel to Ocqueoc Falls for a day of swimming, hiking and exploring. Ocqueoc Falls is a waterfall in Michigan's Lower Peninsula that's the largest in the area. It's also the only publicly owned waterfall in the region and the first universally accessible waterfall in the United States.
Presque Isle Lighthouse
Travel to the The New Presque Isle Lighthouse which is a historic lighthouse and museum on the north end of the Presque Isle Peninsula. It's the tallest lighthouse on Lake Huron that's open to the public. Campers will hike the property and will have an opportunity to climb the lighthouse.
Youth Camp Tiered Pricing
Tier 1
Tier 1: This tier most closely reflects the true cost of camp. It includes staffing costs, site costs (insurance, upkeep, licensing fees), supplies, and much more. This is how much we would have to charge for camp if we did not receive grant funding or donations.		+ $1,050.00
Tier 2
Tier 2: This tier more closely resembles the cost of camp if we receive grants and other funding sources.		+ $700.00
Tier 3
Tier 3: This tier is what we have charged historically. It is partially subsidized for those who can pay a little more but cannot afford the actual cost of camp.		+ $450.00
Tier 4
Tier 4: This tier is a subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of summer camp

We understand this pricing model is still not fully accessible for some families. We can provide up to $75 in no-questions-asked scholarships. You can find a need-based application form in the registration portal if you need additional scholarship funds.		+ $375.00
Transportation
Getting home from camp
Bus transportation - Camp Chickagami TO Location TBD (in the middle of the Diocese)
Bus transportation will be available for all overnight camp sessions. At this time, we are still making arrangements and sorting out logistics. Please choose this option if you are interested in transportation from camp. We will contact all who indicated interest to let you know the details.

Price will range from $0 to $100 and will be confirmed with logistics details.

The bus ride is supervised by fully screened and trained volunteers or staff.
Getting to Camp
