Counselor in Training: rising 9th-12th graders
Description
Counselors in Training camp is for rising 10th-12th graders in the upcoming school year. The session runs from Sunday to Friday.

Counselors-in-Training is a wonderful residential program that focuses on developing essential leadership skills, nurturing childcare abilities, and mastering program planning. CITs enjoy the experience of shadowing counselors in their cabins while soaking up knowledge from our amazing team of trainers. And let’s not forget the fun! A lot of our counseling staff are proud alumni of our CIT program, which truly highlights the lasting connections built here.

We're excited to welcome you! Check-in is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on your session start date, and check-out starts at 1:30 p.m. on your session end date. While we’re working hard to prepare for your arrival and ensure everything runs smoothly, please note that we can’t accommodate early arrivals or departures unless we’ve arranged that together in advance.

DEPOSITS & FEES:
All sessions require a $50 deposit (your deposit is included in your total session cost). Your camper is not officially enrolled until your deposit is received electronically or by mail. Your camper's spot will be saved without a deposit for 30 days.

In addition to the camp fees, a $30 registration fee will be added to your account. This off-sets the cost of our registration platform.

TIERED PRICING: Recognizing that families can pay differently, Camp Chickagami has instituted a voluntary four-tier tuition program.

Choose the tier that is the most accessible for your family. The amenities, activities, and camp experience are the same regardless of your tier. For us, it is more important that families are not putting themselves in a financially tough position to pay for summer camp. We believe every child deserves to experience the joy of Camp Chickagami, no matter their family’s financial situation.

Tier 1: This tier most closely reflects the true cost of camp. It includes staffing costs, site costs (insurance, upkeep, licensing fees), supplies, and much more. This is how much we would have to charge for camp if we did not receive grant funding or donations.

Tier 2: This tier more closely resembles the cost of camp if we receive grants and other funding sources.

Tier 3: This tier is what we have charged historically. It is partially subsidized for those who can pay a little more but cannot afford the actual cost of camp.

Tier 4: This tier is a subsidized rate and does not reflect the true cost of summer camp

We understand this pricing model is still not fully accessible for some families. We can provide up to $75 in no-questions-asked scholarships. You can find a need-based application form in the registration portal if you need additional scholarship funds.

Tier 1: $1050 + $30 NRF registration fee
Tier 2: $700 + $30 NRF registration fee
Tier 3: $450 + $30 NRF registration fee
Tier 4: $375 + $30 NRF registration fee
