"Love One Another" Clergy Family Camp
Description
Join us for "Love One Another," a four-day clergy family camp designed to foster connection and community within the newly formed Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes.
Held at beautiful Camp Chickagami, this retreat offers clergy and their families a chance to relax, recharge, and build relationships amidst the natural beauty of creation.
The community will work together to create and hold opportunities for fellowship and formation. Participants are invited to join at their own pace and in ways that best suit their needs. This retreat is designed for families to be present with our wider diocesan clergy community, one another, God, and creation.
WHO CAN COME? Clergy from around the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes and their families. You define your family! You are welcome to invite people who provide you with rest and support: Grandparents, godparents, friends who are family, moms, dads, guardians, and kiddos of all ages.
ACTIVITIES: A mix of structured and unstructured time, including standard camp recreational activities, opportunities for shared worship leadership, organic breakout sessions based on participant interests, and optional field trips.
PROGRAMMING/SUPERVISION: Families are expected to be responsible for their children at all times; this could include arrangements made with other grown-ups to be accountable for your children during times arranged.
FOOD: All meals are provided for family camps, beginning with dinner on
the first day of the session.
LODGING: Assigned by Camp Chickagami. Families will be lodged together. Communal housing options will be available for those who opt-in. RVs and tents are also welcome.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: Check-in starts at 3 p.m. on the first day of the session, and dinner is the first scheduled event at 6 p.m. Check-out on the last day of the program will occur at 12 p.m.
DEPOSITS & FEES:
All sessions require a $50 deposit (your deposit is included in your total session cost). You are not officially enrolled until your deposit is received electronically or by mail. Your spot will be saved without a deposit for 30 days.
In addition to the camp fees, a $30 registration fee will be added to your account. This off-sets the cost of our registration platform.
