Miqra
Description
MIQRA (meek-rah) is a weekend retreat that focuses on the Bible and allows teens to discover what’s in it, why we should care, and how to read it.

Throughout the weekend, we'll get a taste of each type of literature in the Bible, learn some Bible-basics, play games, sing, worship, and enjoy our Episcopal community of young people. 

You may stay for the whole weekend including overnights, participate during the day only, or select a single day only. Your registration fee includes a t-shirt and all meals for the day/weekend.

Open to grades 6-12 and college/adult volunteers.

NEW!! We will be electing our 2026 Youth Delegates during Miqra this year! These delegates will get to vote for our next Bishop at the June 13th special election AND attend the 2026 Diocesan Convention October 23-24.

Registration begins November 17.

Miqra Attendance
All-Weekend
I plan to attend the entirety of Miqra.
Days Only
I plan to attend all of Miqra, but during the day only and not stay at Grace Cathedral overnight.
Saturday Only
I plan to attend Miqra during the day on Saturday only, from 1 pm to 9 pm.
Sunday Only
I plan to attend Miqra on Sunday only, from 9 am to 9 pm.

Go home at night
You may elect to have a parent pick you up at night and bring you back in the morning.

Kansas Youth Event Scholarship Request
