Registration for the 2024 DEC Summer Camp season for Camp Pack Forest and Camp Rushford is now open.

DEC may open registrations for Camp DeBruce and Colby at a later date, if additional staff become available this spring.

DEC Summer Camps strongly suggests completing your camper's paperwork prior to registration opening day for ease of registration. Spaces fill up quickly! Please email EducationCamps@dec.ny.gov or call (518) 402-8014 for assistance.

This form must be filled out in order for your child to attend camp.
Camper T-shirt
Each Camper will be given a T-shirt identifying them as a camper. We are requesting campers' adult T-shirt size. Once selected, this cannot be changed. If you're not sure of your camper's size, or what their size will be this summer, please size up. Campers will be given the size selected on this form and not allowed to change sizes once they arrive at camp.
Completion Acknowledgement
Only the parent/guardian of the child should be completing the forms.

Permission for camps to take photos and/or videos of the camper during their stay at camp.
Movies at Camp Waiver
This waiver grants permission for campers to watch movies rated PG or below.
Off-site Swimming Waiver
This waiver grants permission for campers to swim off-site from the camp location.
Permission to be tested for COVID-19 while participating in a NYS Summer Camp program
I understand my child may be tested for COVID-19 using a nasal swab rapid test kit while attending a Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Summer Camp. Break-through COVID cases occur regularly and a symptomatic child should be tested in order to decrease the risk to other campers and staff. I hereby give permission for my child to be tested for COVID-19 while at DEC Summer Camp.
Refunds and Cancellations
Please read and review this information on cancellations and refunds before proceeding with making a payment. This procedure was created in response to the increased demand for available camper space and to ensure fairness to all.
Transportation Waiver
This waiver asks permission to transport children in vans for scheduled field trips.
Permission to Shoot Waiver - Hunter Education and Adventure Week
While at DEC camp, campers may choose to participate in the optional New York State Hunter Education course. To participate in the course, this waiver must be completed and submitted. If your camper is unsure if they want to take part in the program, we suggest that you complete the form just in case.
