Refund Policy
Please register early to get your choice of camp events! Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Last-minute registrations should call first for availability. Registrations are accepted until the event is full. Please register no later than one week before event begins so that all necessary paperwork and transactions can be completed, and preparations can be made for your camper.

Camps are available to all regardless of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, or handicap.

A $75 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will hold your place in camp.

Please register early for best choice of events. You may register with a $75 deposit and make periodic payments until one week before your event, at which time all fees must be paid in full.. No camper will be admitted to camp unless registration fee has been paid in full. We encourage you not to bring your final payment to camp, however, if this cannot be avoided contact the registrar.

Payments may be made online with credit card or e-check; or you may call 989-534-6587 with a credit card payment; or you may mail a check or money order made payable to MAUMC to: Camp Registrar, P.O. Box 134, St. Johns, MI 48879.

The $75 deposit is non-refundable. All other payments may be refunded if requested 14 days or more in advance of the start of your camper’s event. If you cancel within 14 days or less of the event, fees paid (including fees paid by your church) are not refundable. However, if you could check the website or call the Camp Registrar to find another event for your camper and register. In that case your payments would be applied to that event. Emergency exceptions are left to the discretion of the Site Director. Campers sent home for behavior issues will NOT receive a refund. If an event is cancelled, and you cannot reschedule, all fees will be refunded.

Financial assistance is available. The application can be found under Resources on the Michigan Area United Methodist Camping website. Scholarship awards are not considered until a camper is registered and the $75 deposit has been paid. Funds are granted with individual consideration. MAUMC grants up to $50 per person, however, based on need special exceptions may be possible.

Photos and video images may be made for promotional purposes, and may be used unless we are instructed otherwise in writing by the parent/guardian.

A complete Health Record is required before camper will be admitted to camp. Health forms may be downloaded from umcamping.org or completed online as part of the registration process. Health records are confidential and will be kept secure on site during the event along with a photocopy of the camper's medical insurance card.

Events at Affiliate Sites (i.e. Lake Louise, Bayshore, and Camp Michigamme) are not sponsored by Michigan Area United Methodist Camping.
