Splash Into Science: A Freshwater Science & Eco-Art Workshop - August 9
Description
In this half-day workshop, students will explore the freshwater ecosystem of the Rouge River, which flows through Cranbrook’s campus. Students will participate in water quality activities and collect aquatic insects, learning what makes these critters an important part of science! After exploring the aquatic ecosystem, students will then use their newfound knowledge to create water-inspired eco-art using recycled materials. Student artists will also be given the opportunity to have their art displayed at the opening of the new 'Our Great Lakes' exhibit, coming to CIS in early 2025!
