For well over 100 years, regular folks have helped to create one of the world’s largest databases of scientific information on the abundance, diversity, and distribution of birds during the critical winter season. This class will prepare even novice birders to take part in this noble tradition by providing tips, tricks, and techniques that do NOT require advanced identification skills. And just in time to join an actual count this winter!
This class is for motivated students of nature, regardless of age. Information will be presented at an adult level. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
