ICC MAIN CENTER SUMMER CAMPS 2024 - Advance Coding with BRICK:BIT
Description
Our patent pending designed and manufactured breakout board allows the Microbit to be easily integrated into our existing LEGO model plans. Our breakout board adds a strip of individually addressable NeoPixels and a headphone jack. Additionally, the power of the board adds a range of features and capabilities never seen before. Our patent-pending breakout board creates a limitless range of interactive and engaging advanced coding models that will make the kids explore advanced computer science concepts and dive into one of the most sought-after programming languages for this camp's ideal starting point.

The ability to code is a key component of technology education today. Our coding program will teach students important strategies to enhance their logic and problem-solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow. Our program offers a skill-level progression of coding concepts. Students will be introduced to basic coding with a fun, user-friendly coding software.

Students will develop a range of coding and problem-solving skills as they create fun video games. Game designers will think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively to create various video games. Each Game Design unit includes a themed mini-model built with LEGO® Bricks that will be the main character of all of the games. Each game progressively teaches more advanced capabilities within the video game design software. Students will be proud and excited to play their very own completed video games.

This is a full-day camp and requires students to bring their laptops/Chromebooks/iPads

There will be breakout sessions to play Table Tennis.

After 6:00 pm $1.00 will be charged per minute.		+ $75.00

You may drop your child anytime for Morning Extended Care from 8:00am - 9:00 am at ICC Milpitas at an additional cost of $49. 		+ $49.00
