On Campus ACADEMIC Academy K-4
9:00 - 3:00 pm

The Stuart Academic Academy at Stuart is designed to prepare each student to transition into the next grade level. In the younger grades, the morning is centered on play-based learning, the and emphasizes routines and developing skill sets. A focus on communication, community, and building friendships as well as an awareness of self-regulation skills are taught through routines and structures, hands-on learning, group instruction and center rotation. The older grades’ daily sessions include over an hour of mathematics and literacy instruction. Previous year's activities have included nonfiction writing (informational brochures of the wildlife found on the Stuart Nature Trail) math game days (fluency games, games of strategy, and games of chance) and fictional story writing (fractured fairy tales). This camp provides the premier educational experience for girls through a balance of academia and experiential learning and is open to Stuart girls and non-Stuart girls alike.

Morning academics coupled with afternoon themed activities create a perfectly balanced summer experience and a smooth transition into the new school year.
