Camp Trico Resident Camp - Backpacking
Description
Get ready for an outdoor adventure with our Backpacking Specialty! Campers will spend the first part of the week learning essential outdoor skills, including fire building, outdoor cooking, campsite setup, and wilderness safety. They’ll discover what it takes to prepare for an overnight adventure and build confidence as they practice their new skills. On Wednesday, the group will head out for an overnight camping experience, putting their knowledge to the test while enjoying an evening under the stars. Thursday will be filled with outdoor exploration, adventure, and opportunities to connect with nature. It’s the perfect specialty for girls who love the outdoors and are ready to take their camping skills to the next level!

Resident camp offers girls a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they can build confidence, develop independence, and create friendships that last a lifetime! Campers will enjoy classic summer camp activities like swimming, boating, hiking, crafts, and archery while working toward earning their Outdoor Journey and discovering new skills along the way.

Girls will be grouped by age and stay in air-conditioned cabins with camp counselors present to provide guidance, supervision, and support throughout their stay. It’s the perfect opportunity to try new adventures, make lasting memories, and experience the magic of summer camp!
