Camp Coleman CIT 1
Description
Counselor in Training I: Entering 9th grade and above (14+ years)

Camp holds a special place in your heart, and now it’s YOUR turn to help create that same camp magic as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT)! During this two-week leadership experience, you’ll learn essential camp counseling skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, group management, and how to support and encourage campers. You’ll work alongside experienced camp staff, observe their leadership techniques, and discover what it takes to make camp an unforgettable experience for every girl.

Your first week will focus on training, observation, and learning the ins and outs of camp life. During your second week, you’ll put your new skills into action as you help work with a new group of campers under the guidance of camp staff. Along the way, you’ll build confidence, strengthen your leadership abilities, and make lasting memories with your fellow CITs. You’ll leave camp with valuable hands-on experience and the skills to become a stronger, more confident leader—both at camp and beyond!
