The Magic to the Mountains - California's National Parks and Disneyland

Get ready for the ultimate California adventure! Girl Scouts will experience the excitement of Los Angeles and a full day at Disneyland before heading into the great outdoors to explore Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Sequoia, and Yosemite National Parks. Along the way, girls will see incredible landscapes, giant sequoias, iconic landmarks, waterfalls, and some of California’s most breathtaking scenery—all while building friendships, confidence, independence, and unforgettable memories. The adventure wraps up with two full days in Yosemite and a special final-night Girl Scout dinner celebrating an incredible journey together!

And don't worry, you don't have to be a hard-core hiker to join. While some high adventure hiking will be available, there will be options for easier strolls during those times.

Please note that the final cost is still an estimate, based on a number of factors, including registration numbers. By registering here, you are simply saving your spot with a $200 deposit. The estimated cost is around $3000 per person. This will include flights out of Birmingham, all lodging, meals, ticketing and entrances.

GSNCA is excited to announce travel opportunities for troops, families and individual girls. Register online and take advantage of the payment programs. All fees must be paid in full 30 days prior to travel. Council Cash may be used to pay for these travel opportunities. Cadettes- Ambassadors may register individually- without a parent/ troop. Parents are invited to participate in all travel opportunities. Prices include charter bus transportation, lodging, admission to attractions/ activities, and meals unless specified. All trips will depart from the Birmingham area.
