Nature Girls
Description
Do you want to explore the stream and discover the hidden world of plants and animals around you? Grab your boots and join us for a week of hands‑on adventure across the beautiful Stuart campus. Campers will split their days between the stream and the forest, investigating the health of the stream while learning about fish, insects, and other organisms that call it home.
Throughout the week, girls will keep a daily journal of their findings, observations, and reflections. They’ll learn to identify native plants and wildflowers, explore the wetlands up close, and gather natural materials to design and build their own miniature boats to test in the flowing stream. Campers will also have the chance to catch crayfish, observe wildlife, and deepen their connection to the natural world.
Although this camp is primarily outdoors, several activities will take place in the comfort of air‑conditioned indoor spaces. Come enjoy a week of curiosity, creativity, and outdoor fun—experience what it means to be a Nature Girl at Stuart!
This camp includes a morning snack and lunch for your camper.
