Description
Passionate about comic books and graphic novels? In this class we will go through the process of planning, creating and editing a story in a comic book or graphic novel format. Kids will bring to life their own characters, and they will design the settings, panels, words, speech bubbles and artwork for their story. We will examine real published comics and explore techniques and concepts that they can apply to become the author and illustrator of their very own comic book. Last day of class we will have an “Author’s Party” where students will share their work with the rest of the class while eating some delicious snacks. Instructor: Perla Sosa Ortigoza
