Lightning Racers: LEGO building, coding, and stop motion animation
Description
Start your engines for an exciting week of motorized engineering, high-speed racing, and filmmaking! In this dynamic full-day program, young builders construct and code motorized race cars in the morning and take the director's chair to produce custom stop-motion movies in the afternoon.

Morning: Motorized Engineering & Bluetooth Coding

Motorized Car Construction: Build high-speed vehicles using axles, gears, pulleys, motors, and battery packs. Drag-and-Drop Coding: Program race cars using an intuitive, block-based Bluetooth interface to control speed and movement. Pit Crew & Grand Prix Challenges: Work with pit crew team members to tune up cars, test designs, and compete in thrilling Grand Prix races. Creative Mini-Challenges: Strengthen critical thinking and hands-on creativity through fun, open-ended LEGO design prompts.

Afternoon: Stop-Motion Animation Studio

Plot & Set Construction: Brainstorm original storylines, construct custom LEGO brick sets, and set up scenes. Frame-by-Frame Capture: Master camera techniques to capture smooth stop-motion animation using professional software. Full Production Editing: Add background music, sound effects, title cards, and credits to complete high-quality mini-movies.
