Gr 9-12 Academic Team
Description
Academic Team is a quiz-based competition that tests players on a range of academic subjects including mathematics, history, pop-culture, art, science, and general knowledge. We are in a rebuilding year and we welcome anyone willing to have fun and be a little nerdy! Students practice and play as team complimenting one another and lifting up one another's unique talents and knowledge. Matches are Monday afternoons started 10/26 and go until about 5:30. The regular season will end at the start of December. Students will determine tournaments in which they would like to participate. Those are held on Saturdays throughout the year. We will practice afterschool until 4. Those needing to leave early for theatre, robotics, etc. are still welcome to practice until they need to leave. We win as a team, and we lose as a team! Above all else, we behave in a manner that brings Christ in the world to those around us.

Please bring a water bottle if you would like something to drink.

Parental Involvement:  Parents are welcome to provide snacks, attend matches, and come read questions if your curious what your student is doing! We'd have to have a parents vs students practice!
