Gr K / KPrep CHCA Teaching Kitchen and Greenhouse Field Trip
Description
As part of our Plant & Farm Units Kindergarteners will travel to the HS Greenhouse where they will explore how plants grow from seeds. We will learn what plants need in order to survive and grow—such as sunlight, water, soil, and air—and how these plants become foods and other products that people use every day. Students will also observe the stages of plant growth and begin to understand how farms help provide many of the foods we eat.

Chaperones: Parents are welcome to attend. They will need to meet us at the CHCA EBL campus on time to ride the bus that departs from EBL at 1:15pm. Sorry, NO SIBLINGS. Chaperones are free as well. Please register to be a chaperone in the chaperone registration session in UltraCamp.
