Gr 1 Fresh Thyme Farmers Market Field Trip
Description
The children will visit Fresh Thyme Farmers Market to connect to our Food unit and Economic standard. The students will explore this shopping market in our community, as well as be consumers and use money to purchase their afternoon snack at the end of our trip.

What to Bring: Please send $5 (on day of field trip) to buy an afternoon snack at Fresh Thyme. This will NOT be paid in UltraCamp.

What to know: Students will be sampling food during our visit. Please include all allergies in the designated box during registration.

What to Wear: Students may wear any CHCA spiritwear shirt with nonuniform bottoms. They should also dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking to the Fresh Thyme Farmers Market.

Field Trip Times:
Miss Wallace class: 8:45-9:45 (arrive at Fresh Thyme at 9)
Mrs. Jones class: 9:45-10:45 (arrive at Fresh Thyme at 10)
Mrs. Anderson class: 12:00-1:10 (arrive at Fresh Thyme at 12:15)

Chaperones: Parents are welcome to attend. They will need to meet at CHCA EBL campus and walk with the class to the Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. Each teacher will share specific instructions for when chaperones should arrive closer to the day of the field trip. Sorry, NO SIBLINGS. Please register to be a chaperone in the chaperone registration session in UltraCamp.
