Gr 9-12 Mock Trial Team
Description
High School Mock Trial offers an innovative approach to learning the law and how our legal system functions. Guided by teachers and volunteer legal advisors, students participate in an original, unscripted simulated trial where they take on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and bailiffs/timekeepers. Ohio Center for Law-Related Education and a committee of volunteers create an original, unscripted case every year that is based on a constitutional issue that serves as the basis for the simulated trial. This CHCA team registration fee will cover the annual cost for case materials, state registration and fees for competitions.

*Location: Mr. Bowling's Room - N143

*Meeting/Practice Schedule: Monday & Thursday after school 3:00pm-4:30pm and select Saturdays in Mr. Bowling's room N143.

*Possible Competitions:
District Competition: Friday, January 30th 2026
Regional Competition: Friday, February 20th 2026
State Competition: March 12th-14th 2026
